SuperBoost, Solid Organic Fertilizer

What is it

SuperBoost solid fertilizer cakes is 100% organic with no added chemicals or preservatives. Solid fertilizers have long been the preferred choice of Japanese bonsai growers. Each cake fits into a standard fertilizer basket and lasts about 4 - 6 weeks. Because of its high Nitrogen concentration rapeseed is particularly good for the spring and summer growing seasons, though it's quite mild, so year round application is often used.

Pot size and estimated dosage

• 15cm @ 3 cakes
• 20cm @ 5 cakes
• 25cm @ 7 cakes
• 30cm @ 9 cakes
  

How to use

Use the above dosage as a guide only. Reduce or increase this depending on the need and season.

Place the fertilizer pellet into your fertilizer basket, which should make full contact with the growing media, alternatively place the pellet directly onto the growing media surface.

Water your bonsai as normal with a fine spray. Extended periods of rain or prolonged water spray directly onto the pellets will cause them to collapse. This is not an issue and it is normal for this to occur so fertilize before or after such periods.
