Discover the Unique Venus Fly Trap, 'Triton'

Introducing the Dionaea muscipula Triton, a truly spectacular and rare carnivorous plant that stands out with its distinct features and vibrant green hue. This historic and beautiful clone is perfect for plant enthusiasts and anyone looking to cultivate a bit of the extraordinary in their gardens or homes.

    Key Features:

    • Unique Appearance: The Triton variant boasts a fused trap with a captivating green color and teeth that may also be fused, making it a remarkable addition to your plant collection.
    • Adaptable Growth Conditions: Thrives in a variety of environments including outdoors, windowsills, terrariums, and greenhouses.
    • Sun-Loving Plant: Flourishes in full sun and bright light, developing vibrant red colors in ideal lighting conditions.
    • Moisture Requirements: Enjoys evenly moist soil; ideal for use with mineral-free water like distilled or rainwater. The tray method of watering ensures optimal hydration.

    Care Instructions:

Watering: During the growing season, keep the soil moist. Use the tray method for the best results.

Dormancy: As temperatures drop, the plant will enter dormancy. It may lose its traps, but don't worry—this is natural! Reduce watering during this time, ensuring the soil remains moist yet not soggy.

Feeding: Allow your flytrap to hunt its own insects, feeding once a month during active growth. Avoid feeding meat or cheese, as these can harm the plant.

Repotting: While repotting is not necessary upon receipt, consider doing so every 1-2 years during dormancy to refresh the growing medium.

Flower Management: Remove any flower spikes in spring to maintain the plant's strength and vitality.

    What's Included:

The price includes a single, potted Venus Fly Trap 'Triton' in a plastic container. Please note that plant images are for representation only and may not depict the exact plant you will receive.

Add a touch of nature's wonder to your home with the Venus Fly Trap 'Triton'—a perfect blend of beauty and intrigue!

Beautiful flytrap. Caught a fly on its own within 20 minutes after unboxing it. Was very well packaged. Thanks!

    Awesome mutated traps

Plant is healthy and unique, though quite small still. Will grow much more after dormancy. Awesome addition to the collection.

    Expectations Exceeded

As with my previous purchases from Bonsai Tree, the 'little' critter-eater I received was very well-protected for transport and arrived healthy & safe. A wonderful addition to my Death Garden at home. I will most definitely be buying more bug-busting plants from Bonsai Tree in the future!

    Just want to cuddle her

Her traps look like they are finished off with beautiful fine lace, sown delicately around the very edges. Captivating colours which almost change when you turn her in the sun. Love her, love her, love her ❤️
