This book offers a clear explanation of how plants grow, reproduce and adapt to the environment in terms that anyone can understand.
What happens inside a seed after it is planted? How are plants structured? How do plants reproduce? The answers to these and other questions about complex plant processes can be found in the bestselling Botany for Gardeners. Written in accessible language, this must-have guide allows gardeners and horticulturists to understand plants from the plant's point of view.

This book is fantastic! A great reference tool, with helpful information and photos. Such a useful addition to my library.
Firstly, it is "for Gardeners" not "for Beginners". This is important, as if it were intended for those wanting to learn botany, it might be quite suitable. However for gardeners and particularly bonsai growers, I found it to be too technical and not focussed on the subjects that I want to explore and understand. My opinion as a simple grower of course.
